How it started.
The Westcott Venture Park site with its deep and historic roots in the aerospace, rocket-propulsion and defence industries seemed a fitting home for the creation of Optec Group, a new company enthusiastic about providing customers with renewable and efficient smart technologies. Optec Group originally formed as a department of Home Power Services, an established contractor undertaking both air-conditioning and electrical installations for luxury garden building manufacturers like Green Retreats, the UK's market leader. Optec Group became a separate independent company as increasing commercial demand for its services grew, and has since ventured into variety of technical disciplines across the electrical and renewable sectors. We have quickly gained a reputation for being amongst the most reliable providers and maintainers of electrical, renewable, air-conditioning, heating, and climate systems in the UK.
